Question by My heart Is In Ohio: What requirements do I need if I want to open an organic beauty supply store?
I’m going to attend art school just to improve my skills as a painter. I want to be an artist on the side, but to make a living I want to open an organic beauty store. I’ll be selling 100% natural soaps, shampoos, etc. What requirements do I need to do this?

you probably need to find a place to rent where you can sell the products, you will need to check with the city’s licensing dept for any license you will need, you will need to get your state sales tax number, if you plan to have employees, you will need a Federal and state ID # to report wage and pay the withheld taxes, quarterly
if you go to www.irs.gov. request Publication 34 for more information about your business income and expenses for tax purposes
