I have just bought the xen-tan ultra dark and I have to say, despite the rave i’ve had from other people, it’s rubbish. there is hardly any colour after 10 hours and I expected it to tan me darker than the dark lotion as it has more DHA in it. so I’d stick to the dark lotion and not waste £40 on the ultra dark one. x
I just tried xen tan today.. I didn’t use too much since I have really pale skin so I was afraid it would come out too dark but it did leave a pretty colour with no patchy places.. I showered and after a few hours I can still smell it. So I don’t understand why everyone says it smells wonderfully, because it really doesn’t, smells like other self tanners once it’s on you, just not as intense.

What product do you recommend to conceal pink undertones and turn the face a nice light olive brown? I’m assuming you already have natural olive undertone :p
@miminkacernakova yes you can use it on your face i do it all the time. I personally use a makeup sponge to apply to my face but whatever suits you should be fine. so the short answer is..yes! lol
thank you so much for this video. i have very pale irish skin and got really weird tan lines from a game of rugby (to think you’d burn in September in Philadelphia!!) so I am so self conscious about the freakish tan that I have from the sun burn (imagine candy cane legs) After reading such positive reviews, I’ll definitely have to save up my money and get a bottle. Even though you’re a self tanning addict, your body will definitely thank you if you do that instead of baking yourself in the sun.
Ive tried many tanning lotions i cant wait to try this one, but i was wondering about how it looks on your armpits, idk if its just me but whenever i put on the lotion about a day later everythings tanned but my armpits i do it in a room thats cold. I thought i was just sweating the lotion off in that part, just wondering if you or anyone who reads this is having that problem with this or any others and if they found a way for it to tan. Thanks

no it doesn’t, your tan will fade slightly but it wont make you patchy. it will just simply remove what is trying to leave your skin so you can apply more.
i’m really pale! and always use the lightest shade i can find but they always seem to look a little too dark for me, do you know of certain brands that can come up really light? i’m probably not looking in the right place! x
i dont understand, surely if you have a yellow undertone, adding more yellow would make you look silly. i have pink undertone and use MAC NC colours. i think this looks great…am i meant to be using NW instead? Thanks xxx
i am one of those ‘paler than nw 15′ people in life and struggle so immensely, im at my wits end with foundation-finding one thats pale enough and with enough coverage for my blemish prone and rosacea prone skin!
