Koretauna was trying to bite at a hair clip while my wife and I were sitting on our bed. Sunlight had poured through our open windows but in order to get a good shot it was necessary to turn up the ISO to 1600 for the faster shutter speed (dogs like to move). This one turned out better than expected needless to say!

I had a chance to shoot with Jessica at Goose Lake in Anchorage way back in May 2010 on a nice evening – little did we know it would be one of last sunny days in this dreary drab depressing summer in Alaska.
I first met Jessica at a local fashion show and she agreed to shoot with us – she is a blast to short with – fun, creative, and photogenic with an excellent smile.
Since this was a group shoot I only had a chance to shoot with her for a few minutes – so I hope I have the chance to shoot with her again.
I didn’t know it at the time but Jessica is big into local pageants and won the Miss Alaska Sweetheart title – and she definitely is one!
