Beacause if you’re not looking good, then you’re looking terrible.

Because it’s engrained in our dna and our psyche. People think m&m’s of a certain color taste better than others. It’s all about preception. Human beings can’t get away from this kind of thinking without lots of mental training.

because we are visual selfish people

see,our bodies are the only thing that make us human.We can’t buy it nor sell it but all the mateialistic things can be bought and sold.So our bodies are the most precious thing in this world.

I dont think its so much we are passionate about looking good,
Its taking pride in our appearance , It makes us feel confident about ourselves.
It doesnt cost a lot to look good , if you have a good diet of fruit and veg, then we are putting good things into our body
Remember the saying …you are what you eat…
Its just a matter of changing our bad habits to good ones.
and …..
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, …..in other words….its the beauty inside that radiates out!!!.

Because we need to look beautiful

this is a normal thing in human

we feel happy and better if we look beautiful this is the first reason

also we like to listen good words about our look from the others (if male from females, if female from male)

but that is doesnt mean we should leave every thing in life and concentrate only on our look

there are people who can never be contented with their looks even though they look fine. yes, it costs a lot of money but if it can make you happy then that is a great feeling, isn’t it? and if it can boost your confidence level, why not? what can be a better pursuit than to love yourself? of course we’re talking about balance here alright, let’s not drain our money on looking good. there’s a thing called “life”.

i think it’s all about impressing someone-the person himself/herself, a date, or the interviewer for a job. looking good doesn’t have to hurt, both the person and the budget. society is telling ppl wat looking good means.

People do this for different reasons.

1. People like to feel good about themselves – so they want to look nice.

2. Some people are very insecure and feel that if they are not as beautiful as the next person then they will not be accepted.

3. Others want to attract the opposite sex

Personally I use the cheapest thing that works to the effect that I want. I do it merely for me so I don’t know how to answer you on that other than with another question why can’t we do both?
